Venetia Leonidaki, D.Clin.Psy., CPsychol, is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist. She is the Director of Spiral Psychology, a private practice in Central London. In her clinical practice, Leonidaki has developed a particular interest in working with complex grief and experiences of profound and ambiguous loss. She has lived experience of perinatal loss.

Leonidaki acts as a clinical leader of a gambling addiction service in the National Health Service in England and a trainer for healthcare professionals across the UK. She has been a visiting lecturer in harmful gambling at King’s College, University College London, Imperial College, and several other universities in the UK. She is a co-editor of the book Breaking Free: How to Stop Gambling and an author of several peer-reviewed journals and book chapters focusing on psychotherapy and addiction research.

Leonidaki is an HCPC-accredited psychologist and a chartered psychologist at the British Psychological Society. She is also an accredited supervisor in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (BABCP) and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (BCP) and a fully trained Couple Therapist. She works with adults, young people, couples, leaders, and organizations. She delivers bespoke training in topics of her specialty. Leonidaki regularly contributes to the media. She has appeared on Times Radio, and BBC News, and has been featured in Metro, the British Heart Foundation, HuffPost, and other outlets.
