River Jordan is a southerner with a global perspective. A critically acclaimed novelist and playwright, her first non-fiction work was a spiritual memoir, Praying for Strangers: Adventures of the Human Spirit, published by Penguin in 2011. She followed this with another spiritual offering, Confessions of A Christian Mystic. Her most recent work is The Ancient Way: Discoveries on the Path of Celtic Christianity, a travelogue about her trip to Scotland on a wild, pilgrimage to the Isle of Iona. She speaks around the country on The Power of Story in our lives and is the Keynote Speaker for campaigns to benefit the homeless in communities across the nation. Her literary radio program, Clearstory is broadcast from WRFN 107.1fm in Nashville where she makes her home and can be heard streaming around the world.
