Rebecca Housel, Ph.D. is a 31-year survivor of high-grade brain cancer and an author and editor in the Mental Health for Millennials series. Housel, an award-winning former professor in both Greater Atlanta and Upstate New York, served on Editorial Advisory Boards for multiple academic journals with Blackwell. Rebecca Housel is also known as the #PopCultureProfessor and did a three-year North American tour with Comic Con. An author and editor in the New York Times best-selling, Philosophy and Pop Culture Series (Wiley), Housel's books are sold in nine languages and 90+ countries; her personal blog, RebeccaHousel.com, draws an audience from 150 countries and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2019. Dr. Housel is a member of the American Psychological Association and has an online practice, Built for Victory, that focuses on improving strength, resiliency and confidence through positive psychology.
