About

Odessa Hamilton is an erstwhile researcher at the London School of Economics (LSE) and a Research Fellow at University College London (UCL), where by appointment, she also teaches postgraduate biostatistics. Her research lies on the intersect of organisational practice and applied sciences to understand behaviourial risk and disease aetiology. She completed a Masters of Science in Psychological Sciences with distinction and earned a first-class degree with honours in Organisational Psychology, where she graduated among the top five percent of her class. She was granted MBPsS status and Psychometric registration at the British Psychological Society (BPS), after which she became a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health. As a full scholarship recipient of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), she went on to study Biobehavioural Epidemiology and Precision Medicine at UCL. With experience that traverses academia, corporate, and government, Odessa has notable transatlantic successes, along with multinational achievements in entrepreneurship and innovation. This is coupled with a longstanding practitioner history with vulnerable adults and victims of serious crime.
