About

Neil E. Farber has a BS degree with honors in Psychology and completed dual Doctorate degrees in Research and Medicine. He did an anesthesiology residency and fellowships in Neuroanesthesiology research and Pediatric Anesthesiology. He retired as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, and Pharmacology & Toxicology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a pediatric anesthesiologist at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. He is now an adjunct Professor of Psychology at Arizona State University.

Dr. Farber is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association, their section on Positive Health, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists Advisory Group for Physican Health & Well-Being. He lectures on creating a positive work environment, mindfulness, goal-setting, and conflict management. Dr. Farber is the inventor of the Action Board - the newest, science-based, goall-getting tool. He has authored more than 150 articles and abstracts, 11 book chapters and is an Ad Hoc editor for many journals including JAMA and Wilderness Medicine.

Dr. Farber is a certified life coach, personal trainer, hypnotherapist and martial arts grandmaster. Most importantly, he is the lucky father of three incredible daughters.
