Miriam A. Lense, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor and clinical psychologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she co-directs the Vanderbilt Music Cognition Lab. Her research focuses on mechanisms of and applications for supporting social engagement in children and families with a focus on music, rhythm, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
