Lana Mamisashvili MS, RSW is a therapist with a private practice in Ontario, Canada. She was involved in the mental health field as a researcher on perinatal depression, anxiety, trauma, and attachment for 17 years before beginning her work as a therapist. Lana earned Honours in psychology and a MSW degree at the University of Toronto. Lana's passion is helping people explore what is keeping them "stuck," and together, figuring out ways to move through the challenges toward their desired selves and lives. Working from an attachment science framework, Lana draws on her training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Neuroscience. Trauma therapy is enhanced by Lana's training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapy and Brainspotting (BSP).
