Kate Roberts, Ph.D., completed her undergraduate degree in psychology from Boston University and her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Rhode Island. She completed her pre and post-doctoral training at Brown University, where she was an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Roberts is a licensed child clinical psychologist and a certified school psychologist. She is a greater Boston expert in child and adolescent psychology, and she has done over 60 television and print interviews.

Dr. Roberts’ focus in her clinical practice is engaging parents in their child’s treatment. She is an expert in Authoritative Parenting techniques (Dr. Diana Baumrind, 1960) and teaches parent and school systems strategies to effectively practice Authoritative Parenting.

Dr. Roberts has consulted with school districts throughout New England. She works with parents and children through institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital.
