Gail K. Sahar Ph.D.
Gail Sahar, Ph.D., is the Jane Oxford Keiter Professor of Psychology at Wheaton College in Massachusetts. She earned her BA from USC and her Ph.D. from UCLA. Her research and teaching focus on social and political psychology. Specifically, she studies how perceptions of the causes of social problems influence emotions and attitudes. She has authored a number of academic articles on attitudes toward poverty, abortion, terrorism, and other issues, and most recently, a book, entitled Blame and Political Attitudes: The Psychology of America's Culture War.
