Dr. Deborah Khoshaba, Psy.D. is a Clinical Psychologist and Director of Training and Development for the Hardiness Institute, Inc., Irvine, California, since 1989.

She holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, specializing in the areas of resilience, health and relationship psychology. Deborah also has post-doctoral training in psychoanalysis and behavioral health.

She agrees strongly with the quote by Benjamin Disraeli that "The greatest good you can do for another, is not just to share your riches, but to reveal to him his own."

Deborah's twenty-four year career shows her commitment and passion in helping people to discover their abilities to thrive, no matter what life throws at them. Deborah has done private practice psychotherapy, taught undergraduate and graduate students in psychology at both Pepperdine University and the University of California at Irvine, is co-author of Resilience at Work: How to Succeed, No Matter What Life throws at You, Amacom Press, 2005, and first author of the HardiTraining workbook and training materials used in education, business, and emergency public service agencies. She is also author of many articles in psychology and the recipient of several teaching awards.

Deborah is a native of Chicago, Illinois, but has resided in Southern California for the past twenty-four years.
