Dr. Christian L. Hart is a Professor of Psychology at Texas Woman’s University, where he is the Director of the Psychological Science program and the Director of the Human Deception Laboratory. He holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology. He is also the former president of the Southwestern Psychological Association. His research focuses on lying and deception, and he teaches courses in deception and forensic psychology. His book, Pathological Lying: Theory, Research, and Practice was published by the American Psychological Association Press. He also has a forthcoming book, Big Liars, with the American Psychological Association Press.
