Amira (Rezec-Wegenek) Buma Ph.D.

Amira Rezec Wegenek, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology at Saddleback College. Her areas of expertise span several areas of experimental psychology including sensation and perception, biological psychology, thinking and cognition, interpersonal relationships, verbal and emotional abuse, developmental psychology, careers in psychology, statistics, and evaluating claims made by the media.

Dr. Wegenek has authored several student handbooks, an experimental research laboratory guide, and written the following American Psychological Association published book: Insider's Guide to the Psychology Major: Everything You Need To Know About the Degree and Profession.
