Valerie draws from her years of experience in her previous work in both a residential children's home and in a Family Service Centre (FSC) in Singapore. Having past experience working with various groups of people - children & their families with abuse & trauma; individuals who are experiencing a variety of mental health conditions & trauma; and couples experiencing emotional & relational challenges, she values the opportunity to come alongside individuals/couples in their journey through life's stressors and struggles & supporting clients in various phases and seasons of their life, and eventually reaching their potential.

Valerie provides therapy for individuals who are experiencing a variety of mental health conditions & trauma; and couple therapy. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR; Level 3), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 2) & other forms of psychological therapies.

Valerie deeply values each individual’s unique strengths and actualizing potential, while validating the pain they are experiencing and believes that all individuals have the capacity within themselves to thrive and flourish. With understanding and empathy, she attunes to her client's needs and creates the safety they require to process their challenges.
