Pamela Brinker LCSW

About

Pamela Brinker, LCSW, writes about the healing practice of conscious bravery. She draws from a wealth of professional and personal experience to help women and men to thrive amidst the challenges of grief, indecision, addiction, and mental health problems. Brinker finds that whole-being awareness is the key to finding groundedness before, during, and after the difficult chapters in our life stories. She teaches others how to cultivate conscious bravery so that people can live a life free of crippling indecision and avoid fear-based actions and reactions, especially during challenging times.

Brinker’s theory of “Braveology” centers around a key issue—you don’t need to give up on yourself or your loved ones. You can make wise choices and improve your life by strengthening your capacity for resilience. The strategies Brinker used to maintain and protect her happiness are available to you and easy to learn and practice. You can use these tools before, during, and after all of life’s challenges to help you thrive right now. Brinker is an expert in many therapeutic practices, including somatic experiencing therapy (connecting body and mind for healing), dreamwork, meditation practices, and EMDR. She also gained wisdom by facing her losses and disappointments head-on with conscious bravery.

Brinker lives in Colorado, where she enjoys practicing yoga, skiing, hiking, cycling, kayaking, poetry reading and writing, playing ukulele and the piano, and singing.
