About

Kelly E. Green, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Professor of Psychology at St. Edward's University, and nationally recognized expert in evidence-based strategies for relationships, addiction recovery, addiction resistance, burnout prevention, and the challenges people experience in pursuit of “having it all.”

She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Rutgers University, where she was a graduate fellow on an institutional training grant from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. She completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Boston Consortium, a joint program with the VA Boston Healthcare System, Harvard Medical School, and Boston University School of Medicine. She was an Instructor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a Staff Psychologist and Clinical Director of a dual-diagnosis treatment program in the VA Boston Healthcare System from 2009-2012.

Dr. Green is passionate about improving holistic wellness with evidence-based practices to improve work-life balance and equity at work and at home. She helps people recover from life circumstances and mindsets that keep them stuck in unfulfilling situations so they can reconnect with their true values and priorities to live their best, authentic, fulfilling lives.

Dr. Green created Raising Resilient and Addiction-Resistant Kids for parents and caregivers looking for an alternative to typical anti-drug guidance focusing exclusively on abstinence-only goals and zero-tolerance policies. Her book, Relationships in Recovery: Repairing Damage and Building Healthy Connections While Overcoming Addiction, is an evidence-based self-help book published by The Guilford Press.

Dr. Green provides telehealth in all PSYPACT states through her private practice, and she founded Grind Wellness to provide coaching, consultation, and training to support holistic wellness in the daily grind. You can connect with her community on Instagram @DrKellyEGreen.
