Amy Saltzman M.D.
As a holistic physician, mindfulness coach, long-time athlete, devoted student of transformation, wife, mother, and occasional poet, my life is devoted to preventing and relieving suffering, and supporting people of all ages in all walks of life, in enhancing their health, experiencing joy, and finding flow (or perhaps more accurately letting flow find them).
My passion is working with individuals and teams—athletes, coaches, and athletic teams, corporate execs and business teams, children, adolescents, parents, and family “teams”….
I have had the privilege of supporting athletes of all ages and abilities, including youth athletes, multiple national champions, pros and D1 athletes (including a PAC-12 freshman of the year, an athlete suffering from multiple injuries who went on to become an NCAA Division 1 MVP). I have shared mindfulness with university teams and athletic departments.
In addition, I offer mindfulness coaching and holistic medical care to children, adolescents, adults in my office. Before moving to Santa Barbara, I worked with employees and execs from Apple, Google, Stanford, Square, Genetech….
To support others in discovering the joy and peace of the Still Quiet Place I have written 3.5 books,
A Still Quiet Place for Teens: A Mindfulness Workbook to Ease Stress and Difficult Emotions
Teaching Mindfulness Skills to Kids and Teens
