I help adults, adolescents, and couples address a variety of difficulties using evidence-based approaches and drawing on decades of experience with individuals and groups coping with symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, trauma, relational conflict, addictions, ADHD, men's issues, and grief.
I serve on the Board of Directors of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy and the Mental Health Network of the United Church of Christ. I earned a Master of Science from UMass Boston, a Master of Theological Studies from Drew University, and a certificate in Youth and Theology from Princeton Seminary.
Building a relationship with a therapist is a deeply human and collaborative endeavor. I am fortunate to have had many great teachers and mentors who inform my work as a therapist and remain active as a professional musician. My greatest teachers are my three young adult sons.
