By exploring your life history and lived experience, greater self-understanding and insight can develop which can lead to changes in behaviors, thoughts, and feelings and positive improvements. This insight combined with new approaches (tools, skills sets, behaviors) applied in your life - something we will work on - often lead to progress in therapy.
