Welcome! I am a doctoral-level clinical and forensic psychologist licensed with the College of Alberta Psychologists since 2004. I have extensive experience in community clinics, inpatient settings, correctional facilities, and private practice. I have many years of experience preparing court reports, providing psychological assessments, and conducting individual and group cognitive-behavioural therapy. I am a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), and I have a wealth of experience in assessing and treating problematic sexual interests and behaviours.
My primary therapeutic orientation is cognitive-behavioural, although I routinely blend approaches to meet client needs. I have training in Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness practices.
My therapeutic style is warm, respectful, non-judgmental, and collaborative. My clinical expertise includes the treatment of problematic sexual interests/behaviours, depression, anxiety/panic, phobias, obsessive-compulsive problems, and acute and complex trauma. Please see my website for additional information, including online booking.
