I am an experienced systemic psychotherapist who is passionate about helping individuals, couples and families to make positive and long-term changes in their lives and relationships. Some key issues I specialise in include: improving the safety/quality of relationships (ie. trust, communication, intimacy); improving mental wellbeing (ie. stress, anxiety, depression); recovery from trauma/abuse; parenting/family issues; grief/loss; impact of oppression related to racism, sexism, or gender identity). Whatever your dilemmas, you will be treated with respect, warmth, compassion, and curiosity, as we co-create the changes you desire.
Change starts with a willingness to experiment with difference. My role as your therapist is to help you to envision your preferred future and take action to make that vision a reality. You may have questions and uncertainties you wish to explore and I can help you to consider your dilemmas, and help you to make choices to improve your life.
I am a qualified systemic psychotherapist, systemic supervisor, and social worker. I train and supervise other therapists, and have had research published. I have worked in the NHS, social care, education, and independent practice. I draw from a range of modalities to meet your unique goals and needs, and I'll be happy to discuss my approach with you.
