I'm glad you are here. Whether you are struggling with depression or anxiety, wish to overcome the consequences of traumatic experiences, have encountered an unexpected loss or transition, or feel stuck in any area of your life, it is so good and important to seek support for yourself. In our work together, I bring a deeply relational quality to therapy, meeting you with acceptance, presence, and warmth. I work from experiential, attuned, and relational approaches with clients. I have extensive training in Gestalt, Emotion-Focused, somatic/body-centered, and mindful-acceptance counseling modalities. I also spent nine years as a Buddhist monk, which forms the foundation of how I am as a fellow human being as well as a therapist.
