As a psychologist, I allow the space for individuals to gain insight and growth in their lives that help them reach their goals and aspirations. We all encounter challenges, whether it be someone suffering from anxiety and depression, a family who just found out their child has a medical issue, a child with fears, or a teen who has been bullied. During these unfortunate times what is needed is someone to connect with and help you out of this dark cave of distress. One of my greatest strengths has been the ability to connect with others and reveal the ways through this emotional distress.
I work with children, adolescents, families, and couples from a Cognitive Behavioral and Family Systems perspective. I specialize in psychoeducational and social and emotional psychological testing to understand how an individual learns and takes in the world so they use their strengths to work on their weaknesses.
Therapy will look different for each individual and treatment is designed around addressing the areas of change that is desired. I empower individuals to take charge of their process in therapy and celebrate all the positive changes that will come. Therapy is a journey and I look forward to being the light that travels the journey with others.
