As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in North Jacksonville, it is my desire to provide a safe space for you to heal. We can stay on the surface or go deep to the core of what's contributing to what you see as life's difficulties. I am committed to providing a collaborative approach through promoting autonomy and self-efficacy. My counseling experience extends to a variety of individuals which include children, teens, young adults, geriatric, juvenile delinquents, and individuals with terminal illness such as cancer.
Besides traditional talk therapy, I am very passionate about therapies that are proved to promote healing: Brainspotting, EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. All entail the use of eye movements with the guidance of a therapist for symptom relief. All are very effective treatments for addressing and resolving multiple issues.
I make every effort to provide the best counseling experience through a gentle, welcoming and peaceful space. My focus is to ensure that every person who chooses counseling understands that mental wellness is a lifestyle and not a stigma.
