I bring 15 years of experience in the mental health field and I’m board-certified in behavioral and cognitive psychology. It’s this experience that allows me to quickly and accurately understand what’s going on with your mental health, cutting through the noise to see what we need to work on. I believe you should be getting better in therapy, so the behavioral techniques I use are backed up by scientific evidence.
I treat a range of clinical problems, with a special focus on anxiety disorders. Other areas of clinical interest include: people who need help facing their fears and phobias and people who struggle with how they eat or how much they weigh.
My style is relaxed, pragmatic, relatable and down-to-earth without any therapist jargon. My role is to help you clarify your understanding of yourself, learn how to cope better with your thoughts and feelings, and set and reach your goals. I don’t take insurance but many of my clients use out-of-network benefits to offset the cost of therapy.
