A client once reflected , "You help us have hard conversations." I couldn't have said it better myself. I help individuals, couples, and families talk about the stuff no one wants to talk about. Grief, loss, death, dying, moving to memory care, etc - these aren't dinner table conversations folks want to have. But we need to have them. That's where I come in.
I bring a calm presence, expertise and experience, as well as a gentle yet direct approach to hard conversations. I have over 15 years of experience working in the areas of aging, chronic and terminal illness, death and dying, and grief. I am passionate about these areas at least in part because, for the most part, no one wants to talk about them.
I'm open to new clients for telehealth in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Florida and Supervisees in MN or WI who are seeking LMFT/LPC/LPCC licensure. My clients are often either grieving, caring for a parent or spouse, or experiencing their own chronic or terminal illness. Oftentimes I help families have hard conversations about end-of-life decisions.

I am currently offering a monthly therapy group for women who are caring for a parent with dementia. This group has been running for over 2 years! We talk about various topics ranging from the emotional aspects of caregiving as well as logistical challenges and decisions.
