Navigating this journey that we call life can be challenging and complex at times. And when we've finally made the decision to seek support along this journey, it can be even more challenging to find someone who listens and supports you, empathizes, and collaborates with you in your journey. As a person-centered therapist, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic space for clients to show up as they are. And by using an integrative and strengths-based approach of DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, I strive to support my clients in gaining the necessary coping skills to begin thriving in their lives.
I support teens and adults through a variety of struggles such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relational issues, life transitions, trauma, and cultural identity exploration. I also assist couples to improve their communication skills and conflict resolution skills, and to build or re-build their trust, connection, and intimacy with each other.
I know that seeking help can be daunting. And as a therapist that comes from a culture where mental health is still stigmatized, I also understand how culture plays a role in this process.
