Living with depression and/or anxiety symptoms can make daily life incredibly difficult. I am here to support you with the challenges you are going through and help you live the life you want. I am a qualified psychological therapist working in both NHS and private practice. I have extensive experience working with adults and adolescents (12+) with a wide range of mental health issues including depression/low mood; anxiety-related issues; self-harm; low self-esteem; and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
I combine my specialism in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) with a compassionate and humanistic approach. When suitable, I integrate elements of other evidence-based therapies such as DBT, ACT and Mindfulness. We will look at patterns in your life which maybe uncomfortable, but it is to understand, not to blame.
My aim is to provide a warm, confidential, non-judgmental, and safe space for you to reflect on any emotional difficulties. I believe that you're the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming emotional challenges. I am here to support and empower you in your journey to a happier and more fulfilling life.
