In the age of social media you might be wondering "What can I get from therapy that I can't learn from TikTok, Instagram, or even Google?" I consider each client's unique blend of beliefs, perspectives and values, and offer a space without judgement. Therapy is an opportunity for us to work together to find a way forward.
I work from a mix of client-centered, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapies and I provide support, warmth and empathy. Goals are individually tailored, but the objective is to give clients an opening to discuss what feels most important to them, while simultaneously teaching the tools they need to face their obstacles and move beyond them.
Therapy can be both challenging and healing - sometimes in the same day. It's important to find a therapist you feel comfortable with, someone who is willing to be on your team.
