Kia ora and hello! I’m a registered counsellor with experience in addressing all kinds of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, anger management, stress and navigating life transitions. I have a particular interest and experience in assisting men and women who have suffered personal or intergenerational trauma. I offer counselling in person, online or walk/talk therapy. Our initial conversation can be a FREE 15 minute telephone call.
Our first session will focus on clarifying what brings you to counselling and working with you to plan a way ahead. I aim to provide a warm, empathetic and supportive space but if you don’t feel we align, I can help you find a different therapist. I am straightforward and can be direct if need be.
I am originally from England and I hold a Masters in Counselling, alongside graduate diplomas in education and psychology earned in New Zealand. I have worked at the Wellington Women’s Health Collective and the Upper Hutt Women’s Centre and now run my own practice. I have worked in teaching, probation and journalism.
