Welcome! My name is Harriet (she/her) and I am from New Zealand. I grew up in Auckland and have since travelled the world meeting people and experiencing many different ways of life. For the past 14 years I have been working with young people, adults and their families to support them with physical and mental health challenges. I like to work in creative and adaptable ways. This means I understand there is no one size fits all approach. You are the leader of your recovery and I want to support you in the way that makes most sense for you.
My specialities include working with people experiencing eating disorders, PTSD, and families and couples. I am part of the LGBTQ+ community and support people exploring their gender and sexuality. I use the following models of treatment: CBT, Family Based Therapy for Anorexia, DBT, DBTPE and Gottmans Couples Therapy.
I bring a wide range of experience and I can't wait to share that with you. I take a collaborative, transparent approach focused on your goals. It is really important to me to work alongside you to establish a safe space to explore your difficulties. I am compassionate, non-judgmental and we will work at your pace.
