Niels van Quaquebeke Ph.D

Niels van Quaquebeke, Ph.D., is the current director of the interdisciplinary RespectResearchGroup. He is moreover employed at the Rotterdam School of Management as part of the Erasmus Centre for Leadership Studies.

Niels particularly focuses on interpersonal respect between leaders and followers as a means to overcome vertical and horizontal conflicts, i.e. conflicts that are rooted in diversity and the imposition of hierarchy.

He was awarded repeated scholarships by the German National Academic Foundation as well as an award by the German government for the innovative approach of his research group. Not only is he a much sought after public speaker, but his work has also been published in various scientific outlets and is frequently recognized in the public media.
