Lauren F. Friedman

Lauren F. Friedman has written for Scientific American Mind, ScientificAmerican.com, GOOD, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and other publications. She has also contributed writing and editing to three very different books: Creative Time: 33 Years of Public Art in New York, Not For Tourists: Queens, and Handbook of Natural Language Processing and Machine Translation. Lauren previously edited Psychology Today's Insights and Health sections and worked as a linguistics researcher and arts administrator before becoming a journalist.
