David McRaney

David McRaney is a journalist who loves psychology, technology and the internet. He is the founder and curator of the blog You Are Not So Smart and the author of the book by the same name. He's been a writer, editor, photographer and everything in between for newspapers, but he cut his teeth covering Hurricane Katrina in the Deep South. He has since moved on to become director of digital media for broadcast television. He started You Are Not So Smart because he missed feature writing, and if it wasn't for the instant gratification of writing for his college newspaper he'd like to believe he would have become a psychologist researching the topics he's now reporting.
