Billi Gordon, Ph.D., investigates the pathophysiology of stress as an antecedent to disease, in particular, interoceptive awareness (how we feel what we feel). After a successful career as a model, television actor, writer, and author, he received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Michigan in 1997. Upon completing his Ph.D. in neuroscience in 2004, he did his post-doctoral research in functional neuroimaging at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Currently, he has a biographically based television show in development exploring the brain and obesity that was packaged by Creative Artists Agency-Los Angeles. He has been married 27 years and enjoys mentoring college athletes, rappers, and other extreme spirits.
