Betty Luceigh has spent her life integrating her profession in organic chemistry with her reflections and poetry on the meaning of human experience. She earned her PhD in organic chemistry at Stanford University. Her primary profession has been teaching her award-winning lectures in organic chemistry, her last eighteen years at UCLA. In addition, she is an ordained Minister of Natural Theology. Retired and now living in the country, she writes from a perspective of unifying science and heart as she deepens her awareness of both. She has published poems, essays, and books. Her most recent book is “Is It Beautiful? A Journey from Separation toward Unification."
