Amir Levine, Ph.D., LCSW-R, is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Bhava Therapy Group in New York City, which provides psychotherapy and continuing education programming rooted in the values of compassionate presence and action, respect, accountability, professional integrity, holistic support, and humility. For over a decade, Levine served as the Director of Behavioral Science at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Department of Family Medicine, where he developed and directed the behavioral medicine training curriculum for medical professionals. Levine completed his Masters Degree and Ph.D. in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. He has presented at numerous national conferences and co-directs the Bhava Therapy Group Continuing Education Program, where he facilitates workshops on providing psychotherapy for older adults, holistic treatment of personality disorders, and other topics.
