How realistic are your expectations about love and relationships? Take the quiz to find out. Are you a Dreamer, Idealist, Realist, or Expert?

I recently created this quiz for Channel 4 in the UK to correspond with a TV program premiering this week. What’s unique about this short quiz is that all answers are based on relationship science and come with explanations. My aim and mission with the quiz is to help educate in particular a younger television audience about love and relationships as much as is possible within this limited context.

About the author: Dr. Bjarne Holmes is Associate Professor and the Program Director for Psychology atChamplain College in beautiful Burlington, Vermont. His research focuses on attachment, well-being, health, relationship attitudes and beliefs, and the role of media influence on social identity in young adults.
