I aim to provide you with a safe, welcoming space where you can ‘bring all of you’, where we can begin the process of exploring the reasons that bring you to therapy, in a compassionate space, that allows you to reflect and gain greater clarity. I firmly believe that the process of being heard and witnessed enables us to open to aspects of our ourselves and our lives that we are normally reluctant to acknowledge but are the foundations of change. I work from the belief that each person is unique, therefore the therapeutic process is unique to each person and will depend largely on your specific goals, desires and needs.
As a body psychotherapist, I work from the premise that the mind and body are one and that working with the body, and its natural healing ability, often allows a deeper level of change than ‘talking therapy’ alone. My approach is also integrative, which means that I draw on different approaches depending on your needs.
I hope to meet you 'where you are at' and that you will come to therapy just as you are. In a safe, supportive environment, we can begin to explore the landscape of your life, the areas of which you may not yet have explored but that are beckoning you to unfurl to a greater potential and 'step by step' you may become the person you want to be.
