Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed and unable to focus? Feeling worried, struggling with the world today. Recovery is possible - I use Trauma Informed Care, EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) - I specialise in working with clients struggling with Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Trauma and Unresolved Childhood Issues. When I first meet with a client, we discuss what has brought them to therapy. With this information we discuss how we will work with together. The first session with any new client is to assess if we can work together and if the client feels comfortable with continuing the therapeutic process.
I offer weekly psychotherapy and counselling in a private and comfortable setting in Galway city. Life can be a struggle when trying to deal with anxiety, depression, stress, post-traumatic stress, grief, relationship issues, unresolved childhood issues, loneliness, suicidal ideation and long standing hurt or deeply embedded trauma. Together we explore this.
My wish is to provide a safe confidential, non-judgmental space in which you can explore your life experiences in depth, gain new insights, and develop your ability to cope, grow and flourish. I work with you as we explore what happened to you - NOT what is WRONG with you. I have extensive experience of working with people with mental health difficulties.
