Welcome, glad you've landed here. The foundation of my offering is rooted in compassion and acceptance, where all of you can be welcomed, witnessed, and understood, with warmth and non-judgment. Many of our current-day difficulties are rooted in old wounding and once adaptive patterns, which no longer support our wellbeing. Sessions may often be experiential, working with experience in the body and tracking nervous system responses. Talking will only get us so far in our healing journey; much of our inner world is held beyond the realms of cognition or words, and so we must access it as such.
All of the work we do together is underpinned by mindfulness, by mindful awareness, by being awake and conscious, both in session and in your own life, moment to moment. Without awareness, we are powerless to the circumstances we face and to the grip of past wounding. Being conscious means we have choice.
Sessions are always approached through a trauma-informed lens; holding the view that humans are not broken and in need of fixing, but wounded and in need of healing. There is no hierarchy in our relationship; you are the expert on you, I'm just here to hold up the light.
