I have considerable experience working in psychological services across various health and social care departments. Having obtained a BSc in Psychology, I went on to complete a MSc in Applied Psychology (Mental Health & Psychological Therapies). I also completed AFT Foundation Level in Family Therapy and Systemic Practice. I qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (BABCP) in 2018. I provide comprehensive assessment and evidence-based treatment for a range of psychological difficulties across the spectrum. All treatments are discreet, time-limited and tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Everyone experiences low mood, stress and anxiety, and there is help there and ways to challenge your negative thoughts and manage your anxiety working with thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I would be more than happy to go through this journey with you.
The idea of coming to therapy and to open up to a complete stranger can be incredibly daunting, but I will be with you every step of your journey to offer support and equip you with the skills to eventually become your own therapist where you will have your own toolkit of skills and resources to help you maintain your wellbeing long after therapy concludes.
