Hello, my name is Kara and I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist. We can often feel alone with our problems and unsure how to begin to resolve them or where to go for help. Counselling provides an opportunity for you to make sense of the difficulties you are experiencing and help find a way to move forward and feel better equipped to cope with future challenges. I provide a safe and confidential space for you to talk about issues and concerns that may be related to a recent development, or may be due to past experiences, which are now negatively impacting on your life.
By exploring together your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a non-judgemental and compassionate way, I aim to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and others and what may be preventing you from living a happy and fulfilling life.
