As a licensed psychotherapist, I work with person-centered, cognitive and experiential therapies. I recognize even difficult emotions are there to help and guide us in life, rather than just make us feel bad. Experience and temperament has given me a knowledge of the human psyche and a certain amount of wisdom around knowing which therapies are helpful.
I am originally from Ireland, but currently spend part of the year in New York and part in Ireland. I believe the experience of living abroad allows me to occasionally offer an alternative and sometimes helpful perspective to clients.
