My background is in sports science and psychology and I also hold a masters in positive behaviour management and postgraduate qualifications in counselling and psychotherapy. In addition to my high level of expertise, I am highly experienced and have an excellent history of work. I work with the physical and emotional person. Anxiety, depression, injury and forced abstinence from sport, issues with food and wellbeing and challenging/ harmful behaviours are my areas of strength. I work with the issue presented but never without assessing the individual as a whole.
My area of expertise is working with adolescents and young adults. I have worked in university, secondary school and specialist adolescent settings. I work in a way that is respectful and ethically informed. I work with clients to resource them to make choices that empower them and give them. practical tools to be able to make decisions.
I will work with individuals in the most respectful manner with an emphasis always being on the power that each person holds to change how they feel and to manage the adversities that may have occurred.
