I believe in the clients’ ability to heal themselves and for the human potential to grow and change to be their best possible self. I see the therapeutic relationship as one which is co-created where the client is given a safe space to be themselves. While some life transitions may not always need support, I am keen to guide clients through whatever life challenges may bring them. My approach is a deeply sensitive, empathic, and compassionate way of being with clients. I believe a gentle, non-judgmental approach helps the client trust in the process of therapy through the supporting presence of a kind, listening heart.
I have worked with a broad client base, which has included working with anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, meaning-making, loss, abuse, suicidal ideation. Those who have experienced life transitions,health issues, accidents. Trauma; including PTSD and Complex PTSD, abuse, relationship issues. I have worked with Women’s groups, students, elders.
