The way I work is guided by the values of curiosity, creativity, and compassion. My aim is to offer you a freeing, non-judgemental environment where you can really be yourself; a safe space where you are encouraged to explore, question and grow in your own time; where every experience, feeling and part of you is welcome, particularly those ones that have been out in the cold. At the beginning, the process can be like a ball of yarn, with many different threads tangled together. We will collaborate to unravel these threads, weaving them into something that makes more sense and is hopefully more manageable.

My clients come from a range of differing backgrounds, with unique life histories, and issues related to sexuality, internal conflicts, emotional dysregulation, and more. Some have mental health diagnoses while others are simply trying to find their way through the ups and downs of everyday life. My aim is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients to express themselves freely and to collaboratively find ways to help them move towards improved mental health. Please note that I am Chinese-born-Canadian but, only offer services in English.

My goal is to help the client to achieve their own personal goals, via individual or couple's therapy. This includes recovery from trauma e.g. adverse childhood events, sexual abuse, violence, bereavement, PTSD, abandonment or any issues that affects ongoing functioning. It also addresses self-esteem, depression, addiction or anxiety/panic attacks that may arise as a result of stress. Indeed stress is the root of much anxiety and physical ailments. As a foundation I offer a sincere and authentic relationship to assist the client with all relationships and future aspirations in their lives. I also offer clinical supervision.

People can run in to psychological difficulty for many reasons. Family conflict, financial, sexual, health, work, trauma, bereavement, identity, addiction, infertility and relationship issues can play a big part in this. As a result you might be struggling to cope, feeling depressed and disconnect, experiencing anxiety, fear and panic attacks. You might be looking for some support, sense of relief, a safe place to explore whatever is bothering you. Counselling & Psychotherapy may be helpful. It gives you an opportunity to discover unknown aspects of yourself, to feel happier and more connected to yourself and others.
