My name is Laura O' Donovan and I live in West Cork, Ireland. I'm a qualified counsellor who is passionate about supporting people to reconnect with their true nature, which is deep peace, joy and wonder with this beautiful world. Through our culture, childhoods and inter generational trauma we gather beliefs about ourselves and this world which are very harmful to our mental and physical health. My own journey has involved healing deep wounds of shame and fear causing repressed anger and sadness which lead to me finding relationships difficult and life in general stressful and hard. I am eternally grateful to be on a journey.

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Life Coach working online and face-to-face in Cork. I specialise in helping individuals navigate the challenges of stress anxiety, identity, self-image, and looking after their well-being. Life has a way of presenting us with hurdles, and I understand the impact stress and anxiety can have firsthand. Through my own journey, I discovered the transformative power of seeking support from a counsellor. This experience fueled my passion to assist others in overcoming their obstacles and developing self-awareness.

Hello and welcome. My name is Elaine and I am a pre-accredited counsellor & psychotherapist. I work from a humanistic integrative model of counselling. This integrative perspective allows me to adapt my approach to meet the individual needs of each client within the therapeutic space.

I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist accredited by the IACP. I work from a humanistic and person- centred perspective. The integrative approach helps me to use a range of psychotherapy models and techniques to draw from. I focus on the therapeutic relationship with everyone I work with. I have experience of helping people with a variety of areas but not limited to – relationship difficulty, loss, bereavement, grief, adoption, anxiety, depression, miscarriage, separation and divorce, workplace relationships, addictions. I am a trauma informed therapist and have a particular interest in early attachment.

It is my vision to support people, to work with them to find their purpose and talents in order to fulfil their potential in life. When a problem presents itself, I will help you in the search for solutions to the current impasse to allow movement forward. We can seek out the source of the problem to see if it can be prevented in the future, or at least its effects reduced, should it reoccur. I feel that by working like this, together you can learn how to overcome the difficulties life sends your way. In this way, you can become empowered. Life can be challenging at times but having a professional unbiased supportive therapist can help you navigate through these challenges. I work with adults, teenagers and couples. I have experience of supporting people with anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, attachment issues, gender dysphoria, relationship issues, trauma, burnout, ASD, grief, self esteem etc.

Emma is an accredited Art Therapist MA and artist with over 20 years’ experience in supporting people with mental health challenges and enabling them to flourish. She adapts a person-centred approach and believes that with a willingness and openness to change, each individual can heal and move forward from difficulties and obstacles they have encountered throughout their life. Emma's goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space. Offering an opportunity to engage in art-making and creative process within a psychotherapeutic relationship this will allow a client to gain more insight into themselves.

Grace is a qualified and accredited psychotherapist. She holds a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy with Dublin City University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology and Sociology with the University of Limerick. Her training included specialisms in couple therapy, psychosexual therapy and trauma. She has a particular interest in the areas of adolescent/ student mental health and is experienced in working with a broad range of difficulties including anxiety and stress, depression, bereavement, addictive behaviours, substance misuse, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, suicide and trauma.

I work with and support people in addiction who want to get well and get their lives back on track. I have over 20 years experience working in both community and residential treatment programmes, I feel that building up a trust and relationship with the client is important if the person is going to get well and engage in the process. I also work with families and concerned persons affected by addiction both on a one to one and group support, I believe that recovery often starts first with the family members who get well themselves.
