I believe that all children and young people deserve the opportunity to feel safe, to be happy and to achieve their potential in life. I work creatively using a non-directive, holistic model of Play Therapy to support children to help themselves. Working with a fun, non-judgemental approach I value everybody's talents equally. I facilitate children and young people to choose the activity in each session while I hold the space to keep everybody physically and emotionally safe. In Play Therapy children encounter the world at conscious and unconscious levels, working through difficulties in their own time.
While growing up most children experience difficulty adjusting at some point. Often a child can’t put into words how or why they are feeling the way they do, just like adults often can’t. Play Therapy is a safe, confidential and child-centred therapy which allows the child to play with as few limits as possible. Through this play comes growth and change.
