Robert D. Mather, Ph.D., is CEO and founder of Mather Professional Services LLC. He is a former professor of psychology and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma. He is an expert in empirical social cognition research on automaticity and cognitive control, attitudes and persuasion, bias correction, stereotypes and discrimination, and leadership. He has authored four books and more than 40 journal articles. His latest book is Implicit Biases and the Unconscious: Liberal Biases, Racial Prejudice, and Politics (2021).

Mather has been featured in articles for The Atlantic, Pacific Standard, Lifezette, Psychology Today, Heterodox Academy, and the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs.
