Matthew S. Boone, LCSW, is a social worker, psychotherapist, and public speaker, and a co-author of Stop Avoiding Stuff: 25 Microskills to Face Your Fears and Do It Anyway. He is also the editor of Mindfulness and Acceptance in Social Work. He is the director of programming and outreach at the student mental health services of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he’s an instructor in psychiatry. He is an Association of Contextual Behavioral Science peer-reviewed acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) trainer and a former consultant for the VA ACT for Depression training rollout.

Jennifer A. Gregg, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology at San Jose State University and a clinical psychologist for cancer patients and their families at the University of California, San Francisco. She is an ACBS peer-reviewed ACT trainer and has been researching, delivering, and training clinicians in ACT and other mindfulness-based interventions for chronic and terminal illness since 1997. She is co-author of The Diabetes Lifestyle Book and Stop Avoiding Stuff: 25 Microskills to Face Your Fears and Do It Anyway.

Lisa W. Coyne, Ph.D., is the Founder and Senior Clinical Consultant of the McLean OCD Institute for Children and Adolescents at McLean Hospital, and is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. She is the Founder and Executive Director of the New England Center for OCD and Anxiety (NECOA) and serves as President of the Association of Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS). She is a member of the Clinical and Scientific Advisory Board and is on the Faculty of the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). She is also a licensed psychologist, a peer-reviewed ACT trainer, and author. She has authored multiple articles and chapters on ACT with children and adolescents, and is a co-author of the books Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: The Clinician’s Guide for Supporting Parents; The Joy of Parenting; and Stuff That’s Loud: A Teen’s Guide to Unspiralling When OCD Gets Noisy. She is a co-author of Stop Avoiding Stuff: 25 Microskills to Face Your Fears and Do It Anyway.
